can u put a 97 v6 cluster in a 97 or any other Lt1 v8 car??

Please post in the correct section, this does not belong in the General LSX Automobile Discussion section what so ever.

You should have better results here in the LT1-LT4 Modifications.

how far do u think the tach will be off?


and can u put a 97 cluster in a 95 LT1 car? plug and play or have to change the pin lay out

It should fit fine. I had the 110 speedo in my Formula, and I swapped mine to the 97 style gage (150MPH one with the digital odometer) without any modification. I don't see why swapping it the other way would be any different. (although I don't know why you would want to)

ive never done the exact swap ur talking about, but i have put a 93 z28 cluster in my falcon, and i would think ur swap would be simple, just the rpms and maybe the mph would be off, but ide think those would be easily adjustable if u can tune the computer
