Time for a cam....I don't know jack about cams
Alright, it's time for a cam swap this spring but I don't know which cam to get. I've done searches on this board and others but everyone has a different opinion so I'll give you the details of what I want.
1) I don't want to rev the engine much past 6000rpm. I need it to last for100,000 miles at least, and don't race the car anyways.
2) I do most of my driving at low to midrange rpms
3) I realy want that lopey muscle car sound--like an old GTO or something. Is it possible to keep the lower powerband and still get that sound?
4) I don't drive the car much so diveability isn't overly important. It's just a fun weekend car.
What do you think?

+1 on the ground. For example call Comp and tell them exactly what you have on your car, and describe exactly how you want your car to idle and drive. I'm sure they'll help you out.
