Default New Bests for the ol LT1 That Could

3100 DA, 60* Temps, very minimal track prep.

N/A
13.44 @ 103.35; 2.01 60'

N20
12.24 @ 119.93, but im gonna call it 120mph, lol; 2.08 60'

On the bottle pass, it hit so hard, it literally felt like it shook the tires, didnt blow them away or spin, it shocked the hell out of everything, and actually shook the car. I got out of it for a millisecong and right back in, but I still think it coulda gone 12.1x, if it would have 60'd a little better.

11s with stock internals/stock converter are right there, just gotta work on the suspension a lil bit.

How big of a shot are you running? I got a lot of spin with a 120 of the line and a 1.6 60'. Throw a nitrous safe stall in a rebuilt tranny and you will hit some mid 11's I bet.

this was on a TNT 150. The reason for the horrid 60' is bcuz im launching at say 1300, and spraying at 3200...plus the tire spin....and I know the tranny and converter are a weakness right now, but I want 11s with the stock shiot for some reason, lol.

Dude, H-Town is calling my name this yr, Im gonna try and make it sometime around mid season.

Default Pics & Vids!!

Got some pics and videos uploaded finally.

12.24 @ 119.93
Gotta love the commentary!! hellllzzzzz yeah!
And I love how when I squeeze it at 3200rpm...lil past 60', it blows smoke out its ***, shakes the tires, launches (again) harder than ****, and lifts the front nose up. I have been going over it frame by frame for about 30 minutes now..lol..it yanks the damned nose up 1/2 a foot higher than the rear end 100' down track, lol. Wish I could hit the spray off line, or yank the wheels at 100', haha!

12.54 @ 117 with a passenger
Took my 18 yr old lil sister down the track with me for a nitrous pass.

Welp thats all I got from this weekend, can't wait for next race weekend!!

Needless to say I am very VERY PROUD of my car after what it pulled this weekend. She ain't dead yet!!

MPH is friggin crazy, car just needs some more gear and `verter to get the 60' down, and it'll go low 11s.

No pics of the sister you *******. lol

Damn.. I need to jet mine up and get a little more gear. I was trapping 117 on a 100 shot with my cammed car.

Are you just running a walboro 255 in tank? Right now I'm losing a decent ammount of fuel pressure at the rail, I had to jet my 100 shot at a 52N and 41F so that I could keep the a/f safe. I'm thinking if I get a walboro 255 in tank I'll be able to bump it up to a 150.

Thanks ABA!!

LSWaaa? - 275/50/15 M/T ET Street Radials.

Bow94z - 129K on this old stocker. Still runs great and has damned good Oil Pressure.

WhyHelloOfficer - The 150 is def worth trying!! Fuel system is COMPLETELY STOCK. I do believe I am losing quite a bit of Pressure in the upper RPMs. Car wants to pull past 6K, but I am not about to let that happen. I have a 6000 Pill in the window switch and have shifts at 5975 (1-2) and 5925 (2-3), so I am spraying thru shifts, and can really tell around 5700+ that something isnt right, lol. I will be jetting back down to the 100s, and won't run the 150s again until I have a better fuel system, and have it dyno'ed w/ A/F to make sure everything is A-OK!

With my little mishap of leaning out on the "suggested 100 shot jets" I'm going to wait until I've got the fuel system to bump it up to the 150 -- but that is extremely promising when I do bump it up.

I'm spraying through shifts with the shift points set up at 6100 with my hot cam from 1-2 and 2-3. I'll have to report back once I get everything tied together. Awesome job! I've got almost 80,000 on my stock shortblock, so this is definitely re-assuring with the right jetting and timing I'll be more than able to get the 150 for some decent times/traps.

Keep up the good work!
