I drop a 150 shot off the launch. I put the RPM at 5K and dump the clutch. Don't side step it, just rapidly let off. It is def. violent!!! I went through 2 10 bolts, and 2 clutches before buying a 9". I guess that's the price you pay for going wheels up with stock components

In the previous configuration, window switch set at 3600 rpm, WOT switch. Hold about 5500 rpms on the second to last yellow and as soon as that last yellow starts to go out, squeeze it to the floor and let the clutch out quick but smooth. The spray would hit just as the clutch came out and the pedal went WOT. That was with a 250 shot on a 396 with a 12 bolt and 27x11.5 QTP's. 1.50 60' and low 10's.
However, I did manage to break a few parts including a stock output shaft and 2 twisted trans yokes. Once I went with a 30 spline D&D box and a billet yoke, no more problems.
Have not tried the new setup but will be very soon. I plan to use the same technique but with the GEN 7 controlling the rpm points and a progressive controller handling the spray.

Sounds like fun i'm never gonna get that far into racing my Z though I'm more of strictly street setup. Suspension and drivetrain will be huge upgrades for hitting the gun off the line. I'd be scared to do it though.lol **** i'm scared to bring 'em up and drop the clutch above 1800 rpm's. ~Cole~
