If you're running forced induction it might be better to run one step colder than stock -- like a NGK TR6. Also with the forced induction I'd look into closing the gap a little bit. The TR6s are usually gapped at .032"

Autolites here as well. I was having high rpm misfire issues, so I pulled out the new looking Bosch Platinums that came in the car and replaced them with Autolites. I have ran them in all of my previous cars and the LT1 loved them to, no matter what the fat kid at the parts house had to say.

BTW, I had to go to three parts stores to find a regular copper core plug. It seems the stores in my area are only stocking the platinum and multi tip junk.

Yep someone tried to feed me the same junk about how I needed platinum plugs, I told him to give me the $1.50 champions I wanted.

Once I finally get the nitrous install going, I already have 8 tr6 plugs sitting on the shelf here.

yeah im running ngk's gapped at .035 and it seems good. autolites run pretty good, the original plugs for the car show the 106's but if u cross the ngk part # it gives u the 103's in autolite. and they say the lower the number the lower the colder the plug for most plugs but with ngk's the higher the # the colder the plug.

TR55 is good for a fairly stock car but even a lot of heads/cam cars will finsd them too hot. Definetely hotter than I would run for blower or boost. I am running Autolite 104s on my heads/cam motor.

For a blower I would try TR6 or 103s, gapped a little tight as mentioned.

Bosch plugs are junk, just plain junk. Yeah, they only want to sell you the hi dollar crap because they have a much bigger markup on those and don't make much on the copper plugs.

Platinum is supposed to last longer than copper plugs. Thats why you're having trouble finding them at most stores, factories are beginning to call for platinum and iridium plugs. Thunderracing still carries NGK though.

I run 104's. Only $1 a plug, and I have yet to foul one.
