I will be surprised if there is any gain, just my opinion by the looks of it.

I had the car dyno'd just how it was 2 yrs ago with the only change of fixing two leaking header gaskets. I bought this intake because I have had the infamous rear intake manifold leaking issues since the car had 10k on the clock. It's been replaced twice and I still have the same problem. I'm figuring maybe its just the intake because if the dealer can't fix it and two other experienced mechanics haven't been able to...then maybe its the manifold. We have tried every single step of setting it down perfectly and not shifting it while following the recommended torque procedure.

I will report a gain regardless of it going up, down, or the same.

i thought that leak had something to do with heat from the egr system. Get the block off plates and say goodbye to the infamous intake leak.

just a suggestion, i guess i could be wrong.

If I were you guys based on the pics I've seen of it, I would clean up the casting material on the inside of the intake around the ports. It looks horrible!

I'm pretty unimpressed with most of Edelbrocks stuff aside from the Vic, Super Vic and their E-Tec heads.

I put block off plates on the stock intake when I did the H/C. When I was having my clutch replaced, the guys noticed the oil leak from the rear of the intake and had me take a look at it. I will probably bust out the dremel a bit and do some cleanup, which is what I did when I got the edelbrock heads on the car. Things would have been different those couple years ago if my car wasn't my daily driver. I now have a spare vehicle so I wouldn't have been pressed for time in getting the H/C done.

I would have gone with an LE setup and called it a day but no reason why I couldn't pop these edelbrocks off and have them sent out for some lovin.
