for pacesetters your going to have to remove your steering on the drivers side, take off your alternator. For one of them i was able to get it in from the top, i cant remember which one, maybe the pass side. Also its easier to have someone hold it while you put the bolts in.

I took the alt. off, took the straight bolts out of the motor mounts, took off the steering shaft & had someone hold them while I put the bolts in. They both went in from the top.

It can be, but don't count on it. It will take more than a day if you just have a generic set of tools that might not fit in tight spots. You'll want to take breaks and before you know it, it's midnight. Plus there are sometimes those unforseen problems like broken bolts. It will save lots of time if you don't care about the stock exhaust. That way you just cut it off and chuck it. Keep the stock cats, many people buy them.. I sold my single one for $50.

You can do it in a day if you cut the stock exhaust off, and just bust *** in gettin the alternator off & steering shaft. Also- jack the car up to where the front bumper is about 2 1/2 feet off the ground & put it on jackstands. Then your going to have to jack up the engine and lower the engine & blah blah blah.

Its not that bad really man. just take your time & dont get pissed off at it. Be sure to soak your stock bolts in PB blaster for a couple days before hand..

I just got done with my Hooker LT's, and just use a sawz-all and cut off the stock exhaust, and get new 02 wires, extensions, and sensors- plus change out the plugs and wires. While I was at it, I put a tubular K-member underneath it, lower A-arms, new shocks and springs, and I also broke the coolant temp. sensor. Other than that, make sure you got some beer.. lol!

tighten header bolts from the center/middle bolts first then moving to the ends. My LT's went in in a few hours. Although I was using a lift, good tools, and I hacked out the old stuff.

some ratchet wrenches will help because there is minimal space, craftsman are the best because they only take a little turn to ratchet.
