Step colder plugs, pull timing, 93+ octane and good seat belts. Be smart, start out with a 75 shot, and dont go any bigger than a 150 shot on that engine.

Also, dont engage the nitrous till after 3k rpms, but im sure u know that

With a stall I was hitting the nitrous right off the line with out a window switch. Did not have a problem with it. On a 150 shot expect to knock a second off of your times.

Gonna be tough for you to do that while trying to drive the car unless you have a button on the steering wheel or anywhere in easy reach. Pick up a window switch to make things easier on yourself. Set it on the top end right before the fuel cut if possible in case your trans lets the engine rev a bit while shifting. You don't want to spray and have the fuel cut kick in. Also pick up a fuel pressure safety switch (FPSS) just to make sure you aren't spraying and your fuel pump goes south on you.

Just use the wot switch but don't open the throttle instantly. Save a little pedal so it gives the motor a chance to rev up. That also helps to get off the line without blowing the tires away instantly. I can't count how many bottles I went thru without a window switch and no problems.

Just flip the arming switch after you pass 3K rpm. tach could be a little slow, and if you flip it at 3K, it may backfire...happened to me.

I have been doing it this way for 2 years now, bcuz i was too cheap to buy a 3000 series set of pills, lol. Have a window switch, havent ever used it except for N20 shutoff RPM (5800).

a 75,000 mile motor will handle a 100 shot quite easily. I have put mine thru the 150 TNT jets more than a few times without a problem, but I also don't drive the car everyday, so if it blows...it blows. You should see around a 1 second drop from the 100 shot. I dropped 1.3 from N/A to 100 jets.

blackbird is right on the FPSS, but i don't see you having a problem driving an A4 and manually flipping the switch. launch it with one hand on the wheel, one on the button, 3K - flip the switch, grab the wheel with both. nothing different than driving a stick car with one hand.

In the future, fuel upgrades, such as a 255lph pump, and FPR might be in order. Nitrous Pressure gauge is always good, 950-1050 psi is a good range to spray from. keep the WOT switch and get a window switch to back it up. and when you step up to the 150 for good, be sure and have a good tune put in the car.

hope this helps man! g'luck!

whats a safe jet combo for a 100 shot...and is it ok to spray without putting in a set of plugs? or is it a must thing to do?

without the colder plugs, I would not go higher than a 75 shot. Plugs are definately a must for nitrous applications.
