I'm sure he means block, intake, and using an Opti. That's what I"d mean, since no one would take a fully stock LT1, then balance and destroke it to make it a rev monster.

Well is the Stock PCM is used you won't find many living past 7,200 where they start to turn off the fuel

Exactly where I shift.

After market PCM a few are in the 8,500 range give or take

My ECM doesn't have a table past 7000 for VE. 7500 for Spark Advanced and TPS Threshold vs RPM for Power Enrich Mode. 6400 for Knock Retard and others. The fuel cut off has a max RPM of 1797693134862315700000000000000000000000000000000 (I swear to god, that's a direct copy and past from the tuning program lol)

My Rev Limiter is set to 5851(odd number I know, ask the ECM) and I shift there. My tranny seems to as well, oddly.

Gotta get Joe O in here to tell us what he spins his to..... Gotta be alot..... I know when i was out in VA and I saw his car he was explaining the super lightweight rotating assy he had with knifeedged counterweights, lightened crank, etc...... Alot of us even with the single plane manifolds, aftermarket engine mgmt and big heads that we run are mostly running as delivered rotating assy's minus coating and mods for endurance..... Or am I offbase here????

So I'm thinking with the NA crown he must have been spinning that LT to the moon.... But hell at 8800 Ed Wright has gotta be close or maybe the king... i only figured to rev mine to 8Kish....
