Default C4 Brake Conversion

Is it worth it? this weekend I am putting new rotors...calipers...and pads, on a 96 anniversary edition vette, and I can get the the origanal peices for the cost of the cores. Is this a good upgrade for the cost...and will the fit my 93? the only thing I can see I would need is the caliper bracket, I am not sure if they are worth the effort? thanks for the replies.

you will need to make a few modifications to the steering knuckle but it is a nice upgrade...I am assuming you are getting the HD brake package...the one with 13" front rotors.

You're going to need like 17 or 18" rims if you get 13"

Yes. I have a 96 C4, and I changed to C5 brakes. Even the J55 stuff isn't as good as the C5 parts. Get a conversion bracket and use the C5 stuff, as the rotors are WAY cheaper (like half the cost) and there are tons and tons of pads available for C5's.

C5 brakes are a much better option. thicker rotors, less expensive consumables.

I work in GM parts so I can get things at a really good price, but can I just buy c5 rotors and calipers and use the c5 brackets or will I have to go with some specialty bracketry and where do I get it ? thanks.
BTW what about the new C6 stuff can that swap, or is the c5 enough
