Anyone used Professional Products 52mm or 58mm TB's? Can anyone recommend a better one?

I have the 52mm on my car. Haven't had any issues with it. The throttle blades seem to close tightly.

Im interested in finding out who sells them as well. I know the LS1 intakes made by them aren't very good, but as long as the throttle body actually functions I don't see why you shouldn't buy one..

I found them on Ebay through a seller called CNC-Motorsports. For the little bit of extra money, I think i'd rather buy something actually made in North America...

I have to be careful what I say here b/c I'm not a vendor but I work for a company that sells a lot of Professional Products pieces and we have no complaints. Also, you'd be surprised by some of the big name manufacturers that have their stuff made by Pro Products. I had one of the reps send me jobber pricing the other day so I may be on board soon, We'll have to see. I need some help trying to feed my car habit and I think I can make a few clean bucks at this. Not everyone feels that it's necessary so spend 4-500 dollars on a throttle body

My parts pro at advanced auto got one of my coworkers their intake and TB for him. Everything looked like it was top notch work.

I looked at them at the SEMA show 2 years ago before they went into production and they looked just fine to me. I already had my Holley 58mm at the time or I would have bought one.

Uugh, a buddy just bought one for his Impala and we were going to install it Sunday. BUT, the mechanism felt like GRAVEL as you opened the throttle blades AND it would not go full-throttle no matter how hard we twisted it. Needless to say it was sent back on Monday.

In the interest in keeping people out of trouble, just search Ebay Motors for the following without the quotation marks:

"lt1 58mm throttle body" The company name is CNC-Motorsports.

Good Info. I've been looking for a TB but felt like the name brand ones were too expensive.

These ones are similar in cost to a ported stock TB and from the looks of it won't need an air foil.
