Hot Cam Kit With Out A Tune!!? how should the car run??? i'm gettin the cam installed and was thinking of waiting till it get a good set of LT's before i get the tune.. or is it someting that i should do asap!!!!

i drove mine for abotu a week and a half before i made the drive to get it tuned...expect abotu 8mpg, no joke. It will run, and it will book....BUUUUT 8mpg suuucks. also it doenst like to idle that much so be careful in traffic. get your tune fas soon as you can thou!

I had a pcmforless tune in my car for over 2 years with the Hotcam, then got another tune from madz28 when I swapped cams. can't go wrong with either of them.

Personally, I would get the headers before I got the hotcam. If you put the cam in before you put the full exhaust on, then you wont see a whole lot of gain.
As far as 8mpg...Im not so sure about that, My cam isnt much bigger than the hc, and its not tuned, and I get 23mpg...no seriously! The only reason mine isnt tuned yet is because I am going to do a gear swap before the summer is out and I dont want to spend the money twice for a tune.
