plug wires
Okay im getting to the point now where i am going to try new wires and see if that helps, but i want to get the best heat resistant ones that i can find, so far ive found these,

or these
http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...vid=4&pcid=104
scroll down towards the bottom and i am looking at the Taylor Thundervolt wires. Anyone else know of any good heat resistant wires out there?
I just dont want my headers to burn any wires.

also just noticed you were looking at the 10.4mm wires. those are a real pain to run, they are just so thick that they are easier to get into a hot spot and burn then arc. just my .02 since I had them in the past. lol, jeez thinking back I went through lots of wires before the ones now. sux

In the past, my experiences with Taylor wires haven't been completely positive.
I've had the best luck with Cut-to-Length MSD 8.5s and running them over the valve covers. Then getting some taylor silicone heat shields.
I've been running this setup for a very long while and haven't had any issues at all.

What plugs are you running? I switch to a plug that was shorter to help with clearance issues with my headers. I run MSD 8.5 wires and #6 is the only plug wire I run heat wrap around. I run NGK TR-55 plug.

Those Taylor "Full Metal Jacket" wires look like a rehash of the Elite OTVC wires which turned out to be a total failure. The stainless mesh braiding caused them to arc like crazy.
