Default Air-Gap Intake Man

Anyone bought the new Edelbrock intake manifold? I was thiking about tring there manifold rather than having my stock one ported, and ive found a hell of a deal (in town) on them....340 bucks new.

Jegs/Summit want 399+shipping.

HMMMMMMMM,since you seem ready to get one would you log your 1/4 mile runs and do a before and after test?
you should see some sort of a gain!we hope!

I should email edlebrock and tell them ill do a Before RWHP and after RWHP if they pay for the dyno time and give me a discount on the manifold

Probably low numbers so they would rather not use them in advertisement. Do you really think any performance company would design, build, and release a product without testing it?

i would not think so but there are some out there that did not get what they thought they would but they market the product anyway.
i personally think it will be a good alternative intake,the design alone helps cool the intake charge thats worth something right there!

I would agree, seperating the plenum from the lifter valley has to have some benefit. The runners are semi seperated also. I am surprised no one posted b4 and after results

Someone did IIRC. except dynos were a month apart on different units IIRC.
