Default Compresion

What compression can I reach without having to run race fuel on a mostly stock bottom end? I’ve heard anywhere from 11.50-12.50, as long as its an aluminum head?

Not necessarily cuz it's an aluminum head, but because it's reverse coolant flow, meaning it cools the head first. Dynamic compression is what you need to watch out for. Run a search for Pat Kelley on the web. Dynamic needs to under 9:1 and static around 12-12.5:1.

it's the amount of psi the cylinder is "actually" trapping.Bigger cam's tend to blead off cylinder psi witch means you need more static comperssion to get your'e dynamic compression where you want it

Bigger cams usually have a lower dcr than smaller cams.

Find out when the intake closes and then use one of the online calculators Silvolite has a good one

Well download that calculator when you run a search for Pat Kelley. For the LE2, you'll have to know what the cam card says for the specs and that'll be kinda hard to digup.
