Back to the track with pics!!
I went to the track like two weeks ago and made a couple runs 12.47 at 106.x
with a 1.73 60'. I was only shifting the car at 5700 (a4 3600 stall), so I put a new tune in it and now I shift at 6200. I went back to the track yesterday and made two runs both very consistant and from opening up the shift points I went.......
I also weighed the car last time I went (I had a half tank of gas) it was 3535, I weighed it yesterday (full tank of gas ) and it weighed 3560. It was also about 20 degrees hotter this time. So I figure with a cool night and like a quarter tank of gas my ET should go down a tenth or two. As of now tho I am pretty happy with the car

1.73 with a 3500 stall and 4.10? and ported polished heads and cam? somethings missing...bolt on car with 3500 stall and 4.10 should be 12.6 range...what kinda power and tune is it? thats a big mph increase with change of shift poitns my guess is you need to be ever higher...but your 60' should be alot better

Yea route 66 is a really nice track, prep is awsome . Yea that is a concrete wall but there is way more than enough space to stop and if not the 100' of sand in front of it will... LOL
Yea the car is still running rich, I tune it myself(LT1-edit) and am buying a wideband tommarow. The heads are just lightly touched up and stock valves, I had to rebuild the engine cause of 2 spun rod bearings so I figured I would spend a couple bucks and have the casting flash taken off. The car has 4:10s and a 3600 stall and I was running on a 245/50r16 Nitto drag radial with salad shooters on all 4 corners. I am pretty happy right now for it being only the second time out this year, and on a basic tune. I dont really want to put it on a dyno, have had bad experiences with those...

well, im goign to say as far as yoru trap speed, and ET, they are about perfect match for each other. transamws6_97; if the peopel you know running mid 12's are trapping 115-118 they are runnign an awfully SLOW et for that MPH. a 12.4-12.5 is usually in the 109-110 area, so as far as im concerned, your right on in that department.

I'm with you. I ran a 114MPH trap at 12.66 with a horrible 60'. Friend of mine ran a 11.5 at 115 MPH with a 1.6 60'.

One time was when it spun two rod bearings, and the other my PCM went out. These things didnt have anything to do with the dyno just seems like I have bad luck whenever I go...
