No. They use a completely different clutch setup (LT1 is pull type, LS1 is push type), and the flywheels are different too.

My brother is running a RAM HD. Seems good so far. I don't think it was much more than 300$. Maybe 340$ish.

By a good clutch and save yourself headaches. A cheap clutch you will have to change
2:1 over a good clutch. Go with a spec.

You have heard or experienced. I hear bull **** all day long that I dont believe. My spec has worked flawless for 3yrs and so has my friend that has a spec 3+ on his ls-1 D1 setup makin 650whp. The only problem with spec is people dont have the patience to break them in properly. The first couple hundred miles they dont like to be slipped. Most guys expect them to be like stock and slip the **** out of them and ruin them. After the couple hundred miles they smooth out just like a stocker.

Yea and i bet bet other brands have done the same thing. Two threads dont tell me ****. There are unanswered questions to both of these threads. When you start making more power the chances of things breaking go up. Im not defending spec. This forum can be like a soap opera, a couple guys have issues and all of a sudden its the parts fault and everybody jumps on the band wagon. I was just stating I've had good luck with spec and so has everybody I know that runs one.

LT4 PP + Mcleoud Single Disk. Puts you over $300, but you have to be realistic

HDX and OEM replacement are JUNK! Do not get low end stuff. It'll end up costing you way more. I have a spec 2 and am very satisfied. I also know people that have the higher end Ram clutches which worked good but the HDX is complete crap

ok guys, but you have to understand that im making about stock power and am not looking for the best thing out there. i was considering a Zoom kit for 255 dollars. i am also trying to avoid any kit that is gonna give me a stiffer pedal than needed. i want something thats gonna be fun to drive and not give my left leg a workout. thats why i am looking into something low end and almost a stock replacement, thats why i say $300. i wouldnt mind going a little higher but definitly under 400

No complaints with my mcleod single disk, it was holding over 500/550 to the wheels without any problems.
