Default New Best time!

well i went to the track tonight and ran my new best!i ran a 13.7@101.i also had my worst reaction time of .701 but i had my best 60ft of 2.09.it was the first time out with my brand new centerforce clutch and flywheel and my new drag radials.im excited cause my previous best was 14.1@99.7.i was stuck there forever.

Yea, any specs, I assume maybe a CAI, or an intake for the hood.

just the ram air intake,3.73's,m6,and aluminum DS!

a 93 t-56 = better tranny ratios!! Awesome man!

Your about on par with what I expect it to run. Time for some headers and cat back.

you might want to consider some suspension mods(LCAs for instance) to bring down that 60' with the DR's....it will help you tremendously

well i do have mac mids and a borla cat back.i also have hotchkis lca's.but this is my 5th time goin to the track

experience with an m6 can make a world of diff on 60'.....what psi you running the dr's at....lowering them may help

Just a FYI, to get a decent 60 foot 1.8 or less on a m6 car, its gotta come off the limiter. I mean this is something reserved for a car that has a 12 bolt or better, steel DS, and decent clutch on sticky tires.

For 10 bolt cars I advise to slip the clutch, bear in mind that this will severly hamper clutch life but give you the ability to leave @ sub 2.0 60 foots and not smash the rear to peices.

yeah well it might be a while before i go again,i have major tranny problems.READ https://ls1tech.com/forums/manual-transmission/797137-uh-oh-tranny-problems.html.

anyway i started at 20lbs and worked my way down to 15lbs and i still had wheel hop launching from 2 grand.i'm goin to lower the air and dump it from 2500 or 3k next time.
