Default CAI Install.... throw code?

i just finished installing my cai and i put everything back and everything... start it up and i have a ses light.... did disconnecting sensors and reconnecting them throw it? or do i have a sensor not reading right?

Did you reconnect the IAT? Intake Air Temp. And disconnecting one could've broke the wire internally I guess, if it's old and brittle.

didnt happen when i put a cai on my lt1..but try disconnecting the negative battery terminal and reconnecting it in a few minutes and see if the code goes away...this will sometimes clear the codes

sounds like an ******* post, but be sure the maf is connected securely.

He's not calling your post an ******* post. He's calling HIS post one, because it's such a dumb question to ask anyone who knows anything about what they're working on.

The MAF. Mass Air Slow sensor. If it's a 94+, it's the big thing in the middle of the CAI and intake elbow. If it's a 93 then you don't have one, and even more so should have less a reason to throw a code from jsut a CAI install.
