I cant figure out what pump to use I hear such bad stuff about melling's but isnt everything have the m55 casting, so isnt everything made by melling including GM. really confused about this.

M55 or M155 will work. When you look it up in the books they list a M155. The difference between the two is the M55 has a 5/8" pickup tube while the M155 has a 3/4" pickup tube.
Really there should be no need to replace it for a couple of reasons, first being that low oil pressure is cause by worn bearings or bearing problems more so than the oil pump. The pump just makes flow and volume, the bearings and lubrication system create the pressure.
Secondly, if there are no problems to cause it, oil pumps generally do not wear out for a very long time. In my personal motors I take them apart, clean, and inspect them. If nothing is worn or burred they get put back together with some very light assembly lube and go back in.
If you do have any burrs on the pump gears, you can buy an "oil pump kit" made by melling that has the replacement parts required to rebuilt the pump. This is fine as long as the bottom plate isn't worn. Most people just buy a new pump because of how cheap they are.
Hope this helps.
