How much do you think a new fuel rail would be from GM? Iam about to buy one off the internet and wondering how much one is new?

Probably an *** ton of money. I wouldn't be surprised by $2-500. Check and tell us

Years ago they were over $250.00 per side from GM. Probably more now if they are even available.

Why do you need new? What's wrong with used/junkyard ones?

i'd go hit up the junkyard! Just clean them out real well with some degreaser/fuel injector cleaner. WAMMO! new fuel rails!

i wouldnt say it's polishing, just ensuring you get all the dust, dirt, etc. out of the tubes. Brake cleaner does wonders to stuff!

That's insane! If they aren't corroded or pitted you can get a pretty nice polished finish justby using Mothers Mag & Aluminum polish and a towel or terry cloth.

I bought a second set off of ebay for really cheap, like $25. Took it apart and am going to get some an fittings welded to it. They do polish up really easy. I think I started w/ 1500 grit wet and then used some mother's and they came out really nice, especially on top of my fully polished intake manifold. Hehe
