Default time for a clutch

i have my motor out. i my clutch looks pretty worn so i think im going to bite the bullet and go ahead and get a new one. i wont need anything crazy, just a little better than stock. anyone know of anything pretty good and somewhat inexpensive.
Btw, how can you tell the difference between an lt1 and an lt4 pressure plate. im not sure which i have. if i do have the lt4 pp then i am going to just by a clutch plate b/c the pp isnt in bad shape.

lt4 pp fingers are smooth.lt1's have a rib in them and they are thinner. There should be a 211 stamped on one of the lt4's fingers.I know some of the recent lt4 pp had this stamp.

i would recomend getting a new pp with it. you will also want to get the flywheel resurfaced. if you just put a new clutch disc in it, it will probly chatter bad and not hold very good

So i should get my flywheel resurfaced? and btw, i think it is an lt4 pp b/c the fingers look smooth. So does that mean i could use the pp thats in it right now and just get the clutch disk? sorry for so many questions guys but im trying to not spend a whole lot b/c im thinking of selling it when its done, but i also want it to be right. thanks for the help

ide say that if your clutch is gone then you definitly need a new pp. maybe if it only had a few miles on it and you wanted to upgrade the disc it would be ok to use the same pp. and yea, get the flywheel resurfaced

If you are getting a new clutch you will want a new disk and pressure plate you will also either want to resurface your flywheel or buy a new one
