If it hooks possibly. I never felt my car with the stock gears but I imagine its much faster now.

what was your '60? Your not going to shed off 4-5 tenths with just gears.

thats a decent '60 for stock stall, 2.73's and street tires, you would need to get that down to like a 1.7 to hit a 12.9/13.0. Before converter my best '60 was a 1.89 with 3.73's, M/T DR's, and Suspension. Throw a converter in there with some tires and 12's are yours.

Some of my friends haven't had the best luck with TCI, check out Yank they make some of the best converters and are a sponsor here.

LOL what a noob. JK..
+2 on gears and a stall. How many people do you need to tell you that your firechicken will run 12s with 3:73s and a stall before you believe it.Just get the parts on and let me show you how to make a 12 second pass with it.

I've got a tci 3600 and it works ok, but i would stay away from them if i were you. I had to send it back to them once already for a rebuild because the lock-up mechanizm stopped working. Right now i'm pretty sure that its going out again. I'm not too happy with it at all. It doesn't like to stay locked up all the time. I would save a little more money and buy a converter from vig or yank before i would tci.
