well thanks to my "head fabricator" LOL! and friend Randy, the floor is 98% done!
technically they were tacks and not stitches but i couldn't resist. amazing what a little finesse with a hammer can do. he handled the welding and i got to beat the hell out of the trans tunnel from inside of the car I will take some pics once it is all finished up!
thanks for posting those pics a while back. I actually think once completed it will be near impossible to tell that it had seen better days

i will send pics before it is completely finished back to stock looking
ellis if you wanted before pics, pm me your email addy.
either way it will be buttoned up in the next day or so, plus have another idea to improve engine removal and installation. that will require a bit more work.

When the motor and trans are back in know one will even be able to tell anything ever happened unless the know about it. In that case if you saw it before you would definitely not let anyone you know run with out proper protection. Taner had some luck with him that day.

Good to see your getting it back togather. Thats one of the reasons Im ditching the 6 speed in mine. Looked at putting a blanket on it But wasnt sure if I could have fit it around the bellhousing to make it effective.

..And, mine (when running) is almost daily driven so no faceplating/pro-shifting for me I can powershift just fine as is on my 315 DR's. Lets just hope I can do the same on real slicks.
no matter what i end up with...know i'll feel honered to line up next to ya at the shootout.
NOW, WHERE ARE MY PICS!!!???
