Default Which Cam...

OK so i'm building a 355 LT1 and i have a CC305 in my motor now.. The new motor is almost ready but i want more then the 305, which off the shelf cam do you think i should step up to... I was looking at the CC306, CC503 and GM847 but if you know some thing else let me know, and no i wont do a custom grind.. thanks

First off is your bottom end stock? If so swapping from the cc305 to the cc503 isnt worth the swap and swapping to a cc306 or gm847 is overkill. I know you said no to a custom grind but it would be the best choice.

the bottom end isn't stock... It's forged and i'm thinking about spraying or a turbo setup..

Well in that case if you dont care too much about the drivability I'd go cc306, gm847 and the like since you can spin up to 6700+ safely with your bottom end being built. I'd personally figure out if your gonna go turbo or nitrous and have a custom cam built to optimize the entire setup.
