Default 13.7 stock m6

well id dont know if it is anything to brag about but last thursday i ran a 13.7 with slicks. i think i could of gotten a better time because my 60ft was 2.something. Well i dont know if i would call it stock with a slp billet flywheel spec 1 clutch and k&n filter. how much lower in time could you guys think i could get it.

a 13.7 on a stock car is very good. Im assuming your 60ft was 2.05 or 2.10 because thats what you would need to get the time you ran with a stock car. I would not push the car any harder because the good ole 10 bolt will not put up with it.
Im curious what did you trap?

Interesting thought, but wrong. 10 bolts ARE more LIKELY to fail with an M6, but 2.05 short times are far from where I'd get truly worried.

My 10 bolt has lived for 14 years, lately with 3.73 and a 3200 stall, pulling 1.8 short times regularly.

And 13.7 is pretty decent on a relatively stock car; stone stock, my 94 went consistent 14.0 at 100. (A4, 2.73s). I'd venture to say you might be able to hit a 13.5... but you don't say what your mph was. You also don't say what gears, as that can affect the run a lot. If your mph was 103 or 104, you can get to 13.5 by improving the 60 foot just a little. if it was only 100 or 101, it'll be tough.

If you're on slicks with a M6 I don't see why you couldn't get low 13s with a good launch. 1.8s or so

My car does 13.2@101.74 with 1.7 60 so I think he can get to 13.5 with a 1.9 60 based on his mph. I know i have a few more mods but I mph slower than him.

Thats because you are a stalled auto instead of a manual - with similar mods you will usually ET quicker but trap slower then the manual guys.

6speed cars are what like to kill clutchs and 10bolts

Its already been proven to be true

Auto cars have less drive train shock on the launch

I ran 13.46 @ 104.61 with only a K&N FIPK on street tires in my M6 way back when.
