Default Pulley question

alright well more problems.... i thought that the new belt that i got was squeakin due to being brand new and maybe not a good belt... well i looked at it more and i noticed that the pulley below the alternator (water pump i think) is not spinning with the belt itself and seems like it is locked up sorta.... i am tryin to explain the best way i can, but im not sure what to do about it... like the pulley is going slower than all the other pulleys and barely spinning... does this mean new water pump? even though the guy that owned this before me said he had just replaced it before i got it.... or is that just the need of a new pulley for the pump?

That would be the AC Compressor..the Water Pump is Gear Driven off of the Cam Gear.

Thats not the waterpump, the waterpump is not belt driven. Is anything actually WRONG with your car other than the squeak. I was thinking it was the power steering, merv says AC.

alright well upon further review.... ya water pump did not have a pulley lol... and... isnt the AC pulley made to not spin with the belt unless the AC is engaged? because i think that is workin right....
also, i went to the parts store thinking it was the belt making the noise... and so i bought some of that belt dressing stuff in a big spray can... and when i spray it on the inside of the belt it temporarily stops squealin at idle, but when it is given gas it still squeals.... (maybe i should just change my name on here haha)... but im thinkin MAYBE that the plastic that is between the alternator itself and the pulley is maybe touching the bottom of the belt, or i may have a bad idler pulley
i have a warranty on my alternator, so that will be what i try first, and then if anybody possibly has a write up on the idler pulley on how to remove it, it would be helpful for me to see
but any help still would be appreciated.... and i dont know all of what im talkin about... im still just a kid lol... so just give me hints or help or somethin and ill gladly try it out.. im not dumb with cars, but def not the smartest, and surely not as smart as all you guys, but im tryin to get there

Remove the belt (with the tensioner from underneath) and spin each pulley with your fingers to see which one is binding-up.

sometimes the ac pulley will lock up whent he clutch engages, but that normally will break the belt?
