I'm still experimenting with the MSD window switch on rpm. The N2O run on my sig, switch was set at 4000 rpm. Going to try lower rpm next time when the track open up in spring.
And yes, I'm aware that it will shock the rear end even more so. But we all take the consequenses if we want faster times, right?

My pops was hitting a Bone stock 10 bolt with a TA cover out of the hole with a 200 shot running 10.30's at 135. It is now in my car and I am pulling 1.6's out of the hole. She's whinning but, she's still working good.

I'm hoping my rear will hold up. I know lots of A4's that do it, but a M6 shocks the rear a lot more than a A4 does since the rear is not preloaded like the A4.

I'm a auto here with a 3600vig and my 10 bolt gave out after one 1.48 sixty foot time. That was a 11.0 at 112 had to get out of it the car got loose down track. The next pass bang. I was leaving the line on a 200 shot.

Start saving for a new rear end. The 10 bolt will eventually break - it is just a matter of time.

you must have let off on that run or ran out of rpm on the big end. Those numbers dont add up to a 10.1.More like a 10.90-11.0

I ran 10.17@133mph (175HP n2o) on the 10bolt with stock 3.42 gears in it back in 05 before I stepped up to an 8.8" rear. I still have that 10bolt sitting in my shop.

A friend of mine ran 10.7@127mph with a 150 shot out of the hole. That 10-Bolt was toast after the run, but it took a lot of abuse before it went. The rear had 3.73's/TA cover and that's about it, I was shocked it lasted so long.
