Why is my car not loud?

Why is my car not loud? I've got a pretty well built LT1, decent heads, Cam, etc etc. LTs, ORY and a DMH cutout at the rear pass seat like everyone has. With it open, its still not as loud as a lot of catbacks I hear running around.
Guy at school has a stock GT, with a Magnaflow catback... Louder than mine...
Just kinda odd.

after the header install i ran mine w open headers and it was stupid loud, now hooked up to the blowmaster it sound pretty deep, however with the cutout open its loud as hell it eats little kids

just go with true duals. Gotta love it when joggers have head phones on and get scared when you drive by and shake their head at you lol. Or you come up beside someone and tap the gas a bit and they jump and scream lmao. Man i wish the snow was gone!

I guess I just expected it to be like open headers. I have no cats by the way.
The cam is 222/224 with 560ish lift I believe. Its been like 4 years since I've seen the spec chart on it.
It is loud I suppose, sounds like it eats babies at idle. It does make people jump when I smack it.
