Default Yeah, another MPG question.

With the mods listed on my sig., including 3.23 gears, my car gets 16 miles per gallon. Does that sound about right? I drive mostly on the highway and drive between 70 to 80, mostly 80. Oh, and I recently changed my fuel filter and my O2's have about 10k miles on them.

Sounds a little low to me. When my car had CAI, cat-back exhaust, mild tune and a 3.42 gear, I got low 20s on the road and about 17-18 in the city.

I think it's low too. I'm gonna try keeping it under 70 mph and avoid having it shift at a high RPM.

I have an 1996 a4 trans am and I'm getting 14, 15 if i use cruise control/drive really easy.

Why do I get such shitty mileage? I have an exhaust leak, but could it really affect gas mileage that much?

I would think you would still be able to get around 24 on the highway.

WTF? I have a 396, stalled auto, 3:73 and a spool and get 15 MPG. I'd think you'd get better than me. Mine tune is pig rich down low also.
