well in my opinion i would had gone with the T/A than the goat but i would never trade my lt1, alot of good memories and hard work put in to my SS.

At least you got another GM Performance car, its understandable, priorities change. If I couldnt keep my LT1 when I got a daily driver it would have been gone a very long time ago.

I think the LT1 cars are too much of a PITA. Mine's been giving me fits for more than 6 weeks. After two new optis, a new coil, and a new ICM. Now it won't even start, probably a fried PCM. Although I love the looks and handling of my TA, I wish I would have spent a little more money and bought an LS1 TA.

Certainly a nice car, but I bet a clean C6/LS2 would still be well over $10k more than the goat. It comes down to what you want to pay for IMO.
