Default BFG Drag Radials ARE THEY ANY GOOD CAUSE I LIKE M/T

i have a set of wheels lined up for 300.00 that are used but only had 3 runs on them. i love my m/t d/r's on my stock 16" but i got a pair of z06 rims with 10.5 / 18" for the rear. and every body knows those tires are like 480-600 for 2 tire "radials or slicks" there is no way im going to pay that cause i hardly drive the car and ill just buy these if there any good. if there good then ill just get a spare set when i find some . how is the wear on these ?
do they last long with good 3-5sec burnouts?
thanks alot

Dragging on 18" wheels is like... well the Dodge Magnum I saw pulling a HUGE boat. You can do it, but it's stupid to. Keep your 16s for drag racing and your 18s for street use.

lift up your stock 16" wheel, then your 18" the 18 is A LOT heavier, if gaining weight on the car and going a tad bit slower but it looks good then go for the 18s.

Personally i use my stock salad shooters with the 255 on them. And TTIIs for street use.

Its all up to you.

There is something to be said for a larger sidewalls I think.... Drag racing and stiff sidewalls don't mix.

True. Lower PSI with a bigger sidewall helps, and low profiles can't really pull that off.

well i dont really drive the car unless im mad or want to have alittle fun. which is always dont get me wrong but i'd rather use the money for something else if im going to do that. man i really really want to keep these but since every1 is saying it'll be shity it sucks cause i love these wheels on t/a and camaros. i just bought a whole new suspen.adj.everything and 3.73 gears and the z06 wheels i got to say this sucks cause i want to run these since i only do street racing but thats a no no still i sopose

Probably because they are lighter, and have independent rear suspension.

In the end its your car, what do you want out of it. I have two sets of rims for my car. One for racing and one for street driving, I like looking good too. I spend way to much on my street tires, should of bought some heads and gone faster but it's what I wanted. Oh by the way, spending your money on anything besides your car is wasting your money.
