slp replaced the muffler with a resonator, so no it is not just straight pipe but it is much more free flowing than a normal mufflered exhaust system

most likely, some people put a cat on with the loudmouth to cancel out the cruising "drone" and to eliminate some of the raspy sound but i personally think its unique and love it

It's extremely loud at idle. That was my favorite thing about it when I had a LM on my 95 Formula.

Did you have your cat on or have a high flow cat?

get ready for a DRASTIC change in sound haha, if you plan on building your car up tho big time, i would reccomend building the car around the engine! do all major engine mods last in line so you dont keep breaking stuff! take my word for it haha, i know alllllll too well.

stock motor, a loundmouth II CME, ORY, and pacecetter long tube headers to me yes its louder but not too loud and anoying. since i bought the car i put the loundmouth II on with the cme but ran the stock y pipe and stock headers. was well worth the money and getting the long tubes and ory that i got from Texas Speed. thanks again. i have CME so to a driver it is quieter then regular dual exahust though. i dont get much poping either.
