ok this dude has a 2001 ls1 trans am and i have a 96 lt1 trans am, and he is selling me everything headers back, the ypipe and the borla cat back, and he told me a guy said that the ypipe wouldnt work on my lt1 cause ls1 y pipes are different!! is that true, ok will the catback even work on mine ?

ya y pipes are diff...the catback should be very similar just need to be welded

ok well i already have a borla catback but i threw a drive shaft and messed my ipipe up so i just need the i pipe off the catback really and borla wants to charge me 180 for a little piece of pipe and he is gonna sell me from the headers all the way back to the tips and he has BRAND new borla tips all of it for $200, so i cannot pass that up, and he also has a corsa catback for $200 if ya know anyone who wants it , we are located here in temple,tx

Ok I'm using the new ones but. mine will be for sale, the are chrome but not as new and. Mine are a little duller so let me know

My 96 Z28 has a Magnaflow Catback off of a 01 WS6 and I think the only thing different was the hangers on the tips... the person before me just relocated the hangers...

Dont know bout the Ypipe...

they headers wont fit will they...i know the Y wont fit but like everyone else said just relocate the hangers

Oh no he I selling me the ypipe and catback, I just installed new paceswtter ceramic longtubes witha ory pipe so I won't need his ypipe just the front of the cay back!! But ill let ya know bro when I get it!! It should be soon
