Would they fail you just for RPM's? Did you fail for bad emissions, too high Hydros? Summarize the report sheet they gave you and let us know as that will really help in the diagnos.

And most importantly, how 'high' are the RPMs? 5850 is factory rev limit.

Here is a pic of the report, as you can see in the

NO (PPM) section the max measurements are
MAX -------------------------- Measured
689 at 15mph --------------------------955
706 at 25mph ------------------------ 952

everything else passed ok but those measurements failed the car. Heres a picture

Ahhh, you meant PPMs not RPMs. That will confuse people.

Those test results are a little blurry and hard to read, but it looks like you failed for oxides of nitrogen. The EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) is the system used to reduce N.O. emissions, so that would be the first thing to check, even if there are no codes for it.

LOL..I read "RPM's too high" and I'm thinking "let off the gas pedal...it's the one on the right"....lol.

But Formula413 has it...Parts per Million (PPM). Big difference betweent those two. Good advice^^^
