93 tuning
Im starting a project of sticking a 383 under my 93 hood and was wondering what i should do for tuning the thing? not sure if the chips are the way to go, if anyone has the same thing and what they did.

And if you get into tunning it yourself, I recommend (which is what I'll do if/when I get the extra money) going with this stuff:

Lets you mount the chip OUTSIDE the ECM, also boosts the signal to allow for this. Wouldn't be hard to run the cable through the firewall by where the ECM mounts and then mount it in the glove box. (Sadly "This product will be in stock on Monday 04 August, 2008.")

Cable(s) for the above product. One is 18" one is 36", depends on how long you need to mount it where you want. 36" wouldn't be bad just to know you have enough.

EEPROM, lets you electronically erase it, instead of having to use a UV light or pull the chip.

Socket adapt to the stock memcal setup in the ECM. The cable plugs into where the chip would normally go. Or if you decide not to go with the rest of the above stuff, you still need this.
You could get that 18" cable as well, and then have it to plug into the remote mounted EEPROM and plug that cable then into the burner.
I HAD a sweet way to make it so you could update the tune while running the car w/o having to pull a thing, but now I can't remember the 'final' piece of it I thought I bookmarked it, but am not finding it. Much like the item below, but not an emulator.
Haven't heard anything about this, so I don't know how well it works, but I'd love to use it. Not a bad price either considering what all of the above costs total.
