Opti Options??

I never justified spending the extra on the MSD unit when the Delco's have worked really well for me personally (swapped 2 on my z28).
The MSD is billet aluminum and has the option of +/-10 degree timing (iirc - im not sure if this is correct.)
Both should be fine units and definitely would be my top2 choices, I'll never put on a refurb or auto zone one if I can help it.

So vent the Delco yourself! One guy drilled a hole in the cap and put in a barb fitting and ran a vacuum line to it. Most here then silicone the cap to the opti to ensure no moisture, which is basically what MSD did but with a nice rubber o-ring (or I think at least, I've never taken an opti apart to know if stock has one or doesn't).

Depends on whats done to your car and high how you spin the motor. Personally anything over 6k the stock opti rotor can't handle IMO. MSD unit is a better quality unit. You can check out my MSD opti page for more info. CLICK HERE
