Finally got my 12 sec slip
R/T .071
60ft 1.72
1/8 8.233@81.81
1/4 12.993@102.11
3185lbs 3440lbs w/me Yeah i'm a fatass.
That was the 1st run of the day and it bounced off the rev limiter twice before going into 3rd. I broke the rearend on 2nd pass. At least I finally got the 12 sec pass if just barely.
I finally got the wife and kids out to the track for the 1st time ever and I break down on 2nd pass. Go figure. It was still a good day.

I got another rearend but it has 2.73s. I have 2 sets of 3.42 gears, I just need to install one of them. A buddy of mine gave me those 3.73s and i installed them last thurdays. I set them a lil too loose at 12 thousandths, I knew better than to leave them at that. By the time I got them to 12 I was over it and ready to call it a night. I needed car to get to work Friday.

If he kept the 3.73s, theres time in that 60' for one. If he can cut a 1.7 60' then I would think a 1.6 is possible leaving a little harder. His 3200 will help alot with that.
So I think the real question to Smokinlt1 is what kind of tire are you using and how hard are you leaving (stalling it up good I assume?).

Weld Dralites all around. 15x8 M/t drag radials 275/50/15 and skinnies up front. I can stall it up to 2400-2600 before I push through brakes. I've tried flashing it but can a 1.8 that way. She didnt spin at all 1st run but it did wheel hop on 2nd run when it broke. I have a drag bag back there to help with wheel hop. I need some relo brackets and panhard rod since Im running cut springs that I cut 2 coils off of and she sits all cockeyed. If I put stock springs uncut back in I might be able to knock another tenth off the 60. I still need a CAI and need to get rid of silencer tube as well.
I would have liked to see what she wouldve run with the shift points right. I'm not going for the bolt-on record I'd just like to run 12.499 or better consistantly. Then maybe throw a LPE 211 or Crane 210/224 and shoot for 11.99 cam only which I know a lot of people have done.

At first I was pissed about the revlimiter issue and didn't think I had a good pass. I didn't look at the slip until I parked it. I was curious about the 60 ft since it left hard with no spin. Then I saw the 12.99 I was good the rest of the day.

add a dragbag and that's it. The mph seem slow but with it bouncing off the limiter I dont know what it would've done. It lost a lot of forward momentum I know that much.

Its hard to say, but that 81 mph 1/8 is just about right for 102 1/4, & i'm guessing it wasn't hitting the limiter in the 1/8, so maybe its not hitting it as bad as you think, i used to tag mine @ or around the 1200ft. mark in my Duster & only gained 1 mph when i bumped the limiter up & it didn't hit anymore. In the camaro i run 80 1/8 & 100-101 1/4 consistantly, my best is in the sig. Your 60fts. are great, thats where those good ETs are coming from, just last week i saw one run 12.5/12.6 @ 105 on mid too high 1.7 60fts., so your right on the money IMO
