Default New car...Problems

I am ot new here just havent ever realy posted.. LAst night i purchased a 94 z28 with about 90k on it clean looking and runing car i couldnt pass it up.. so here is my problem.. after driving it for a while i have a pretty strong smell of gas from the passenger side of the car.. is this a common problem? or does anyone know what it could possibly be

Pretty Common Lt1 Problem If You Call It That, I Kinda Like The Smell Of Gas, Especially When Its Burning!

It cold be an EVAP leak it could be from not having cats or being hollowed out, or it could be from running rich for whatever reason.

is it a raw fuel smell? look for gas leaks

does your car have a cat on it??? i just had mine replaced because i failed emissions but i had a very strong smell of gas in my 94 also. My cat was completely blown out now that the new one is on the car doesnt smell at all.

YO ROBBIE! DID YOU END UP GOING TO THAT EXHAUST SHOP ON CACTUS AND 19TH?

no i talked to my guy on 35th and northern and he sent me to muffler masters on 55th dr and glendale. Seems like pretty good people over there. Got my car done pretty fast and was alot cheaper than midas and some others i checked. I am pretty sure ill pass emissions now cause my cat was completely blown out i was amazed.
