heh I'd say your builder sucks and if he's not warrantying it, you should've shitcanned him the first break! If he is warrantying them, I'd tell him you're going elsewhere and you want reimbursement because this is BS. If he won't, well then I'd say stuff a 6spd in it :\

At least you didn't get shafted on a transmission you bought from someone on here I haven't gotten to drive my car since July.

my .02...., street = M6, track = auto. I agree that your tranny guy must be doing something wrong.

I honestly think of it this way if your not looking for a all out drag car and dont wont really fast times. The M6 is more challenging in ways of geting the times you want! I know it sounds funny but say if my car runs 6.50s in the 1/8th and I know I drove it there threw a M6 it seems more satisfying to me! Dont get me wrong I will tell you all day long that an auto will be more consistent and go faster than a M6, But I like knowing I did it not the tranny!

if you are all about consistent times at the track, go th350. If you like to have fun driving your car, and dont want to be spinning hella rpms on the highway then go 6spd. also not that you care most likely, but 6spd will definetly get you better mpg.

The 4L60E when done by someone competent is more than capable.

I am running a ProBuilt Automatics, Rossler is good as well as FLT.

i have had 2 different builders 1st time the tranny didnt lasta month then i wouldnt shift in to 3rd gear. well that guy rebuilt it again then 2 months later the same thing. he said he wasnt going to rebuild it again cause he sid i have been racing it. so i went to another guy well his tranny lasted 3 weeks and the stall and the tranny both broke. the guy rebuilt it 4 free and said he put a billet 3rd gear clutch basket. that tranny ran good for about 6 months. then friday night the car kep hittind the rev. limiter shifting from 1st to 2nd i really would like to kep the 4l60 but it really getting old
