Default ls7 clutch in place of ls1

i need to buy an ls7 clutch kit for my 2002 trans am ws6 m6. but i only get my orielly discount if its non aftermarket, so here is the question:

if i have them search up a 2005 corvette equipped with the ls7 clutch stock, could i buy that and have it readily fit in place of my old ls1?

also i need a new throw out barring, what would all of you recommend?

The LS7 clutch that I have says LUK (sftermarket) on the disc. I do know that you need an LS2 flywheel to make it match up. Replace the pilot bearing for sure, you can replace the throwout bearing on the slave for piece of mind though. I personally would just go through a sponsor on here, they can be easily had for under $500 shipped.

thanks for the links guys, helps alot,
the only reason i ask this question is because either buy the kit through a sponsor for 559 or through orielly for like 350,

when i first went in there they put in my make and model and they priced a clutch for 325 but im guessing thats the replacement, not the upgraded, and the ls7 is what i want but the only way to get a price on it is to look up a corvette that came with that clutch. ... any suggestions on how to get my discount from orielly?
