Anyone ever seen a bent bellhousing???
My car use to shift great but then I loaded it up really heavily when I was moving and developed a really bad vibration. I assumed the driveline angle from the rear squatting down so far had killed the trans so I got a new one along with a new clutch. The vibration went away but its never shifted right. Its like the clutch isn't disengaging. Since then I've tried a 3rd trans, yet another clutch, several slaves, and a tick master. None of these has managed to fix my problem. Now the idea that the bellhousing could possibly be bent/tweaked slightly causing the input shaft to always rub the pilot bushing and never spin independently of the engine. The last pilot bushing before the 3rd trans was wallowed out badly but that trans' input shaft had a little play in it, too. So has anyone ever dealt with a bent bellhousing? If not, any other ideas on my problem?

Anybody have any thoughts on this? I'm about to just toss the old trans back in. It shifts like crap but I don't want to trash the new one and I need a car for school.

did u do the install on the trans/clutch? what clutch/master cylander u using? i have never heard of a cast aluminum bellhousing on an lsx car bending. i would check the dowel pins and the mating surfaces of the bellhousing and engine to see if they are free from any debris. and check the way the bellhousing sits on the back of the motor to see if it sits flush. i've heard of fitment issues due to the dowels not bein clean or sitting properly in the bellhousing which caused alignment issues.

I'm not sure yet. Might just pull the clutch and take it somewhere. I don't really have the funds to pay a shop to pull the tranny and inspect everything right now (I'm a student). Any shop recommendations in my area?
