Default Monster Stage 3 review.

I ordered a stage 3 monster through lashway performance, first they're great people to work with. Eric is a really great guy and helped my out on shipping and the price. If you're in florida I highly recommend them!

This clutch feels amazing!! Pedal is definetly stiffer, but nothing too obnoxious. There is only a tad bit of shudder, but I only have 75 miles on it.

Again, props to both of them for bein great businesses!!

I figured I'll kinda make this into a review thread as well, beacause prior to buying mine all I could find was "buy it you'll love it" posts no real review. If anybody has a review of their own for this clutch as well, feel free to add your two cents.

Around 0-50 miles it developed a shudder, I'm assuming this is normal due to it being a 6 puck clutch. Otherwise working awesome.

200 miles it still has a bad shudder, but only if you attempt to slip the clutch. Since I have 4.10s I can roll the clutch out let it catch then hit the gas. Thus avoiding a quite harsh shudder.

Hopefully it will go awaY here soon.

Default Nice!

The stage 3 is a great choice ! Its has alot better well a little better street manners than the stg 4 ! Its more forgiving similair to stock and that is a good thing if you are a dd car! 4 was a great clutch just oiled her down and ate her up sent me a stage 3 681 miles just tad chatter and smooth as butter ! I thing if you have the tic slave if feels as easy as stock to push ! engage is different but that is just a (gettung use to thing)
Remember dump that ****** each stop light ! Seems weird and people look at you like you are a tool ! But is this tools money that paid for that ******* thing so stupid or not she gets dumped !
Guys at monster are good as gold!

Me and a buddy just finished installing mine tonight. It feels great and it was our first clutch install. It was eventful to say the least but I'm very satisfied with the way it turned out. VERY. The guys at Monster were very helpful when I called to ask questions. This was the first time I've ever torn down my car for anything and though it was rough at times it was a GREAT learning experience and I'm glad we did it ourselves. I recommend Monster Clutches to anyone looking for an upgrade. Can't wait to finish the break in so I can really hit the throttle again.

BTW LOUD, I left my spring installed.

I would leave it on! You will get use to it ! I would remove it if you got the tic slave ! But no big deal ! Your leg muscle will learn the feeling and wont even be able to tell a differance !

yeah Ive got about 1500 or so miles on mine and love it. Just remember if you do Daily Drive it and slip the clutch it will chatter and possibly start to squeal a little bit. Dont worry just go out and do a nice 2nd gear heater down the street and beat the **** out of it and she will be good to go. This clutch is badass so far.

Mine arrived yesterday to the house. Got a question tho, do you use the stock size pp bolts - 10x1.50 with the monster flywheel? I may need to order a set as the ram flywheel that is in the car now uses 7/16 pp bolts.

I used the factory hardware in mine, but with a generous amount of threadlock.

My stage 3.5 with chromeoly flywheel works great(full face disk). Got over 1500 miles on it and some track time. Also have the tick master which i recommend. Now my input shaft is bent on my trans lol which i got to fix. Anyways it works great and i cant really tell any difference in pedal from the stock ls6 clutch, no extra noise either. Deifinitely no shim needed either. It pushes the throwout bearing pretty much all the way in on its travel with the quicktime bellhousing and motor plate.

It uses the stock bolts. We can get you a set if you need them, or you can try your local dealer.

I've been rockin one since about December of 2008. I like it because it drives well enough for the street, it wasn't too expensive, and it's rock solid on power-shifts. I've never had sticky tires to see what it does out of the hole, but it sure does jerk the car around when you're grabbing gears.

I know I've got some hydraulic issues somewhere, but mine still sounds like a gang of turkies when it's cold. It's true, however, that if you give it a good dump every once in a while that it goes away. I really don't care though. All I want it to do is last a long time... we'll see how that works out.

I recently finished breaking in a level 3 with the steel flywheel. I love it. I was a bit skeptical about the chatter going away but it actually did at right around 512 miles on the break in. I couldn't take it to the track yet as I just took my WS6 to install a new cam. But I love the clutch and I would buy it again.

I'm approaching 450, when you say chatter went away. Is it completely gone? And feels like a full face? Mine is considerably better than 200 mikes ago. But it still has a slight chatter.
