Default hard to shift

So i got my t56 rebuilt with ticks stage 2 kit and also threw in a GM Slave and pilot bearing. After the rebuild it was bled and whenever i tried to shift it was always notchy and like something stopped me from shifting for a quick second then it went in. Almost like it waited for the rpms to go down before going in gear.

I figured it was a hydraulic issue so i ordered a Tick adjustable master and got it installed today, rebled it and still having the same issue.
Even when i'm easy on it it still feels like there is a wall that keeps me from going in gear for a second and then it goes right in gear.

Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks

I'll give it some more time to wear in. I just changed the fluid to GM synthetic and it helped a little but i guess everything is too new. Don't know what else it could be.

Thanks Egg

No problem yea everything is still tight in there. I used royal purple syncromax in mine and it works great, soo if u decided to change it again go for that.

I'm having basically the same issue with my 02. Bought the car last year with 103k on the clock. Always had that slight hesitation in between gears. All stock as far as I can tell. Edit: Only put 3000 on the clock since I've had it.

Yeah the master was adjusted per directions, i took it over to lashway here in pompano and they took a quick look at it and they're almost positive it's internal

mine also has a slight delay to it when shifting, almost like the synchros are working a little harder to match the gears and its taking a little longer to match the speeds... i can still shift pretty quick though and my car only has 49,xxx on it so who knows.

let me know what they say, i may have to take a trip to lashway.

Wonder what shifter he was running. My T56 rebuilds 4b was a little notchy, but after 1 or 2k it loosened up. Stock shifter and it shifts great.

It didn't get much better but I ended up selling the car and the new ss shifts similar to it and I even bought an mgw to try and make it shift a little better

Not sure, but i have another tick MC ready to go in the SS. It probably wont help in daily driving but i'll have to wait and see

I just got back from the track today & after everything I did a few years ago my clutch is acting up again. After a track pass I cant shift it into gear & the clutch pedal feels low & wierd like theres not much pedal travel. After a few minutes of sitting it works ok again. All new hydraulics & clutch within 2 years & less than 20K miles. Right after I installed the Tick M/C it was fine but not now & it feels like its a hydraulic problem. Kinda frustrating.

I've got the same problem, I have a tick stg 2 kit with all the other extras from the gear box, stg 3 monster, tickmaster, remote bleeder, pro 5.0 shifter, and it has roughly 4000 miles. It feels like there's something that keeps it from going in smoothly, and when I use the nitrous it get worse. Seems like the only way to shift fast is to slam them in.
