Monster Stage 4: DD ??'s
Basically, I'm looking at getting one of these for the Z06. I know it's overkill right but hopefully not for long.
Anyways, the stg. 4 is iron and I have a few questions about the drivability with a clutch that isn't running an organic compound. I know most folks will say it's more of an on/off switch but I would like to hear from actual owners of this clutch to see how it drives and more importantly, how it performs.

I was told to go with the 5 over the 4 for DD. Because for one the iron material is not good for alot of stop and go and slipping the clutch. It is made to be a more on/off style and I believe more suited for track and works well in that manner. I believe the 5 uses same cera-metallic disc as the 3 just has a higher clamping pressure plate. I am in the market for a stg.5 monster, spec twin or 3+, or a fidanza twin and still torn which to buy. Just wanted to throw my .02 in on what Ive learned from my journey to find the perfect matched clutch for my vehicle.

Thanks for the info....
The thing is a clutch swap in the Z06 isn't as easy as it is in a f-body and shops around here are charging me 800-1100 bucks in LABOR alone. So, depending on the clutch, it can range from 1600-3000++ if you go with a RPS BC2.
I gotta make sure I pick the right clutch the first time or I'm going to have to drop another G or so because of some mis-information.

I have stg4 400rwhp 02 WS6. Don't daily drive but do take it out when weather nice. Couldn't ask for better street strip clutch for my HP level. Car has seen about 25-30 drag passes without a change. And that's being slipped off 2 step at 4k because of 10 bolt everytime.
