Default MGW = awesome

Well I took the advice of my cousin who had an '03 Cobra. He had an MGW on his and really recommended it. I went with just a plain Jane Hurst white ball shift ****. But more about the shifter, it is just so solid. I mean guys, phew... it's just so smooth and... and... awesome. From this forum member, HIGHLY recommended.

I just got mine in to replace my stock hurst with a WS6Store short stick. It's definitely an improvement, and sped up my shifting a bit.

Question guys: I have the Pro 5.0 power shifter with Lou's short stick. Do you guys know how this setup compares with the MGW one?

I had one, it was a bit stiff at first, i didn't keep it too long, but the pro 5.0 was so easy to move i could shift faster... now i have the stock hurst about to get the short stick.

You will really like it man. It was a little more of a PITA than I thought but well well well worth it. I mean, I always wanted to drive my car before and it is even worse now. LOL

I didn't really expect to have to remove the entire center console. I mean it wasn't that bad, but I really did NOT see that coming. O and the rubber shifter boot that is underneath the console was kind of a pain to get off. Was it worth it? **** hell yeah!!!
