Tex SR1 transmission problems!!! Help!
so I have a sr1 transmission from Tex racing now known as Gforce south and I can't find clutch hydralics for it. I called and asked ram clutches and got the wrong answer. Bought thier hydraulics then had to return it. I then called Mcleod got thier 1300 model number hydralics and guess what? It didn't work. I know someone else has to use these transmissions with a hydraulic throwout bearing. Can anyone help me get the right part?
I am using a 1 1/8 inch 26 spline input shaft.

The transmission type has nothing to do with the throw out bearing that you need to use. First of all, what engine are you using? What clutch are you using? What bellhousing are you using? Did the SR1 come with a bearing retainer that has a snout on it? Report back all that into and I can help you.

On a super T10. Some of the Tex trans use that design. Not sure of the sr1 design.
I had this one on my full size clutch, had to buy a different one when I went to a 7.25 clutch. I can look that up if you want that info as well.
That was on a GEN1 engine, not sure it would make a difference on a gen3.
It was just a bearing that slid over the front of the trans. Had to run shims to space it out to the plate. I used the thickness of a credit card to shim it and worked great.
What exactly made the bearings you purchased "not work"
