Sealant for ARP Flywheel bolts ?
The ARP instruction say to use their moly torque lube on the threads.
I thought the OEM flywheel bolts from GM had some kind of sealant to prevent oil from leaking out?
Should I use a little ARP ptfe teflon thread sealer on the threads and then the moly on the bolt shoulder?
Or are the crank holes blind with no way for oil to get to the bolts?

The holes in the crank flange are drilled through, but the reluctor wheel is pressed against it. There is a small gap. Since the crank is spinning, I don't think oil is going into those threads, but at high rpm there may be crankcase pressure and fumes that will try to go out any opening. Like Meent said "loctite", it works as a sealer also.

I use ARP thread sealant with Teflon. I’ve never used a Loctite on those bolts and never had an issue. They torque to like 75-80 Ft lbs if I remember correctly.
