Do I need a new flywheel with a new clutch
I am going to be changing my clutch soon!! I have been told that I need to buy a new flywheel when I buy my new clutch. Can I not just get my old flywheel resurfaced? What will happen if I just use my old flywheel.... please let me know before I go blow a lot of money on a new flywheel.

You can.
If you use it without surfacing it, you'll have different friction characteristics between the disc-flywheel and disc-pressure plate surfaces and you will fry the disc.

You are asking questions leaving us in the dark on the info about the car...
Is it an ls or lt? is it even an Fbody, vette?
I would just replace the flywheel. You may be removing enough material from it to need a shim which is just a pita to measure out. New you dont have to worry.
I would reccomend buying a Monster Stage 2 or 3 depending on what kind of power you are making or if they even make something to fit your application.. Again, in the dark..
