LS7 clutch disc
Ok guys, I got the LS7 clutch assembly on my car (installed in 08 and love it), but have had a rear cover oil problem so bad that it covered everything inside. There are no heat spots on the clutch PP or flywheel, but the disc is worn away. The engine is out of the car because of toasty roasty cylinder #7. Does anyone know where i can get just the disc(or one that is compatible) for this PP and flywheel? BTW it was still holding strong while contaminated.

Been searching all day and found nothing but clutch kits. I was wondering if I can put another brand disc on this PP I already have. Like an ls1/2 disc if i can find those first. I can't even find the part number for the GM disc.

It's the same setup on Vette LS2's, and all LS3's. However, not on GTO LS2's......
You can buy just the clutch and pressure plate off either
$230 @ GM Parts Giant or
$194 plus surcharge @ GM Parts Direct
I just bought the whole set from a local dealer today who matched GM parts giants prices.
However the best COMBO price is @ GM Parts House for $443.

No, the disc is around 1/4 inch too large to fit inside the pressure plate and flywheel. The LT1 disc is pretty close to the right diameter, but its on the small side and the springs are weaker.
